NOTE: The acrylic face of the pin has a film of plastic that protects the surface of the shinny acrylic — however, the film is clear, so there is nothing that says that you have to remove it at all. If you wish to remove it, find a side and just work at it with your finger nail until you get an edge to pull. (on this Pin start with the top of the thumb) Don't use anything sharp or you could scratch the surface. Some customers think there's does not come with the film on it (I assure you it does) I pack each one myself and inspect each item.
NOTE #2: After a couple of customers have lost a pin or the black pin back I now include butterfly-clutch locking pin backs with all the pins. This metal pin back has a tighter hold on the post and catches in a groove in the pin post before falling off. When you get your pin I would switch from the rubber pin back to the sliver or gold pin back that is included.
