Performed visual inspection, noted L-4 Band C and lL-5 Band D connections were reversed (corrected); very clean inside and outside
Unit has original capacitors
Initial power applied via a variac. Started at 10V, held ~30 seconds, incremented in 10V steps to 120V dwelling ~30 seconds at each increment. All further testing performed using a mains outlet
Initially did not detect an Audio or RF output, terminals on the 12AT7 and 6C4 sockets were loose such that the respective tubes did not make solid contact with all pins. Using needle nose pliers with the tubes removed, the socket terminals were gently squeezed from the underside. Afterwards, the tubes fit snugly and Audio and RF outputs were present
Range measurements, all nominal for fundamental frequency [generator specification]
A: 156 Hz-to-508 Hz [160-550]; dial = output frequency
B: 543 kHz-to-1940 kHz [550-1850]; dial = output frequency
C: 1840 kHz-to7154 kHz [1850-7000]; dial = output frequency
D: 6550 kHz-to-25400 kHz [7000-27000]; output frequency less than dial setting (details below)
E: 24.2 MHz-to-109.1 MHz [27-112]; usable harmonic frequencies to at least 218 MHz; output frequency less than dial setting (details below)
Note: measurements taken after unit had ~10 minute warm-up; used included OEM Coax Lead
