    Description

    I bought this panel so I could convert my HP 8656 from the back RF output to a front panel output. After replacing it completely, I found the panel didn't work properly so I used the front panel faceplate, hardware from the front panel output assembly and the circuity from my original panel.
    What's left is good segments and switches(?). The panel did not operate in most of the functions which made me think it was mostly chip or connection issues.
    I didn't spend any time sorting out the problems as I was in a time crunch.
