Heathkit SQ-1 Square Wave Generator with Manual
Recently restored and ready to use, in great physical condition:
Brand new 2020 electrolytic capacitors (Nichicon/Rubycon or equivalent reputable brand purchased from Digi-Key)
Paper capacitors have been replaced with polypropylene
Out of spec carbon resistors have been replaced
Line cord has been replaced with a polarized cord to ensure the hot side is switched
Hot line is now fused
Output level potentiometer was worn out and defective, and has been replaced with a 10-turn wirewound potentiometer (complete overkill, but the only stocked equivalent parts at Digi-Key with sufficient wattage were multi-turn wirewound; maybe the original was under-spec'd causing burn-out)
Switch contacts, vacuum tube sockets and pins have been cleaned
All functions are tested working, but due to its age this is being sold as-is with no warranty.  If local pickup is chosen, you may test the unit before purchasing and I will allow a refund if any function is found defective (otherwise your bid is binding).
