Heathkit Model: SG-8 RF Signal Generator - Powers ON - Original Condition

Up for your consideration is a Heathkit model SG-8 RF Signal Generator
The SG-8 was originally sold as a kit that the purchaser would build and Heathkit sold the SG-8 from around 1956 to 1961.
My unit here was purchased from an estate sale of a ham radio operator. He was the original owner.
I placed it on a shelf to add to my large Heathkit collection – I’d hoped to put it to use as well as perform a full restoration of it.
Fast forward a few years and it remains as it was at the time I purchased it – on a shelf looking cool.
Not anymore - I am now slowly selling off my Heathkit items to others who will hopefully actually use them (what a concept!).
About this unit:
The unit powers up. No further testing was performed as I do not have the proper cables to connect to this unit.
All knobs and switches turn with ease.
I removed the cover to show you the inside – everything appears original – no modifications have been made while in my possession.
